About Jason Kay & Trish Giassa

Since 2013 Jason has been honing the skills to provide you with one of the best experiences in selling or buying your home: one that is as smooth and as stress free as possible.

Prior to real estate, he spent 18 years as a mechanical engineer in product development, project management, and technical sales culminating in 35 granted patents. During this period, he worked for several startups, mid-sized, and large corporations, such as Bell Labs. As a trained engineer and PMI-accredited project manager, you will find that he can help prepare you for what to expect and when it should happen during the transaction, which will remove your anxiety and uncertainty in your home purchase or sale.

In addition he can also help you understand the mechanics of how a home works, in addition to helping you see the possibility of owning the home of YOUR dreams - by suggesting renovations that result in the most ROI when selling their home; or when buying, what modifications can be done while working within the building & zoning requirements in addition to the expertise to help select the home to become their dream home.

He bought my first home at age 23. Since then he’s averaged buying a home about every 5 years, so he knows first-hand what buyers and sellers go through - both as a broker and a consumer. He can help turn the frustrations of the system and lack of inventory to your best advantage... In some cases, win the home of your dreams when 10 other people want the same home, and in other cases get the home potentially for below market value. He has owned fixer-uppers, rental properties, single-family homes, townhouses, condos, new construction, and everything in-between and can help you navigate what is best for your unique situation based on his wealth of personal knowledge and access to information when he doesn't know the specific answer.

When not at work, Jason enjoys cars (especially tracking them), which includes coaching teenagers car control and accident avoidance with Street Survival as well as volunteering as a safety and corner worker with Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing. Additionally, He’s taught mogul skiing to the physically disabled with Crested Butte's Adaptive Program. Besides all that he loves skiing, hiking the backcountry, and cooking - but not all at the same time.

Trish bought started selling real estate in Boulder “100 years ago” (or in 1986), when she left marketing to sell real estate. The thing she likes best is that she gets to use all her marketing skills in real estate which is much more fun! She loves helping people like yourself to buy and sell homes. Daily we strategize to prevent problems and solve the ones that somehow just crop up. Every day new people and new challenges populate her life and she welcomes each and every one with integrity, enthusiasm and a win-win attitude.
Trish’s role on the team is to make sure your experience is the best it can be! On the front lines and behind the scenes. She’s always available for you.
Real estate pervades her life yet she still finds time for her other passions: hiking, downhill and cross country ski, traveling, cooking and languages. She’s fluent in Italian and manages a few words of French.
